It's been awhile since I did my last Tuesday's Tales.

I am in my most busy moment right now! So much to do but has so little time. I almost wish we have more than 24 hours but then I might end up working for literally 24 hours when that happens. Arggh!

Anyway I miss shopping. And lately I have so many plans of buying stuff and most of the plans were way overdue and I still couldn't find time for them. So while I am in the middle of my sleep now I will try to shop. LOL

I have been online for minutes and now and get across this savings.com coupons. I figured it could be something nice so I investigated further.Turns out this is my new source of online information to get good shopping deals such as Hewlett Packard coupons and Home Depot promo code.

I used to wonder before how people get these promotional codes and discounts. I feel good to have found this online as I am an online shopper. Despite my busyness and sleepiness at least I have something to smile about today.

Found My Ideal Glasses

It's been months now since I made an announcement on how my views were magnified. I have also been wearing contacts for about a month already. But then, lately I have been looking for a specific pair of glasses which I believe will be good for the house and when I am to leave the house last minute. I am looking for that type which does not have a temple pad, you know the sunglasses type only that they are not too huge to cover half my face which by the way I am fond of! (Yes, you read it right, I am like the Asian version of Jacqueline Kennedy Onnasis in terms, as most friends would say...and that is because I love wearing big sunglasses!) Anyway, I have been looking around was about to give up and was so ready to spend big bucks when I saw some nice pairs online for as low as $12! Woot! Now I can buy a few pairs in different colors...and yes I am just crazy like that. If I like something I usually buy extra pairs (or spare units). All in all I think I will still be spending way less than getting those expensive ones.

Making Banners

The other day I was just blogging about our upcoming Career Fair and how busy and so excited I am about this activity. Today I spent my day making our banner design. Of course I need it done nicely...and superbly!

I was looking around for some help in making my banner design. After some series of clicks, I found a site which offers web based software for designs of all types of advertising banners. You could just tell the level of excitement I have. I found a good source of different designs...and not only it is a great help for my corporate events but oh my, I am sure to use this for my other personal events as well. The birthday of the nephew is upcoming...and mine and the IT Guy's! So so excited.

I can't wait now to have my very own vinyl banners. This is something worth investing especially for corporate banners since this is highly durable and weather resistant. I am also thinking of putting one on our construction site...so people will know that in there soon will rise a big call center! What do you think?! ;)

Let me go back now to my design and see if there is something to change, add or remove. This is just fun!

Watch Me Wear It

I just visited T-shirt forums, trying to find some really cool shirt stuff. And when I say cool, I mean trendy, unique, creative custom made shirts! What made me get into these you may...and as most of you know I have been quite busy the past months. Oh well, it has to do with work of course. But the part which I am really loving!

We will organizing our very first job fair in 2 weeks. It will be the first in its kind here...trust me. It will be like a cook out activity we used to have in school. We will have it outdoor and it will be in the evening. There will be food and beverages, non-alcoholic of course! Right now I have already Coca-Cola and Nestle's commitment to support us by providing free beverages for job applicants, isn't that amazing?!  Anyway, other than the food and the drinks, we will also be giving away some cool stuff such key chains and pens. But then, it will never be complete with our shirts, so they say. They -means my staff.

So I am shopping around looking for some really cool shirt to seal the deal. Then I get to this Cafepress custom t-shirts and now I am as excited as my staff. I was never a fan of shirt in the past...but now that I have seen these cuties...ah, I feel like going to that Eclipse store and get some really nice shirt with me and Edward...I mean, Bella and Edward! LOL

I really look forward to having design my own shirt soon! Watch me wear it! ;)

Going for Glass

One more day to go and I'll be in Cebu for the holy week. While I am excited about going home my mind is simply fixed at the new house here in Bacolod. As I've mentioned before, I am renting a 2 bedrooom house here and while I love it, there are still of of things to do for this house to suit me. 

Finally I was able to finalize with the owner that I want it repainted (both exterior and interior), I want the screen of all windows done and redone (for the bedroom) and finally I want another bathroom sink! 

I want to talk more about sink because I got a new one for Cebu and I am happy with it, but just recently I found this really cool glass sinks which I'd really love to have. So I am thinking of getting one for the new house. Yes, a glass sink for the new house' bathroom!I love the look of it, plus the fact that I believe it is easier to maintain than steel and porcelain. I have to be honest though, I fell in love with it because of its aesthetic appeal more than anything. Now, I guess I have to extend this to center. I'm going to discuss with the building contractor if we could have them. Regardless how our talk will go, one thing I am sure, I am going to have them in my new house and in my new office. Haha!

It's summer here already and for me, more than going to the beach, that means buying new set of undies!


You may ask what's the link...well I know I've said this before, but let me say it again - life is too short for uncomfortable undies...so for the weekend, I'll shopping for some sexy panties!

And why on earth I have to make a post about it...oh well! Just one of those days when you want to share something too much...LOL

Shopping for Eye Wear

Things are slowly settling with me and one of the things that made it easier for me is my new pair eye glasses.

I never thought all the inconveniences I had, okay, maybe not all, but most, were caused by my deteriorating eyesight. Now, my views are way better, I can work better and no more crazy episodes of migraines. At least not as often as before.

I am planning of having my eyes checked again end of this month and maybe I will get another set of  eye wear to make sure I have spare. I want to follow the boss, he has a pair at the office, one left at his house and one he carries around. I guess having it that way will not make me forget nor panic if ever I lose one. Also I am looking for some specific designs and color for variety...hahaha.

Anyway, if you happen to be looking for one, you may want to check online. I have found several stores which offers nice eye wear at very reasonable prices.  What I plan to do is just buy the frame if ever I couldn't find any that will fit my prescription. And while I cannot try it myself, the dimension and the photo of how the frame looks like is more than enough for me to know if it will look good on or not.

Choosing Furniture

I am so excited with the new job that I have started shopping for some nice furniture, not only for the office but for the new home. I have not chosen a place to stay yet but it is always nice to start looking around as early as now.

In my search I found several good furniture both for the house and office. I have found some really interesting pieces and I can't wait to see the actual layout of the building (office) to finally decide if they would fit in there. And it is quite a bonus that I found some good deals too like the discount furniture offers! 

Now I am battling whether I chose some cozy fiber or get leather furniture. For one, the leather I am guessing is quite low in maintenance and will not host dust like some fibers. I can't stand dust as I have allergic rhinitis and this allergy once triggered take a long time to go away and is more than enough to drag me down. And THAT is the last thing I want when I'm away from home and has a new business to attend to.  Another consideration I am particular with is the color. I am very conservative and would like to stay with earth tones. I think I have them covered for now as well. All I need to do now is get to the new place and check.

Dress Children Like Chidlren

Fashion do give out its own statement and this is not just true for women but for young girls too. Yes, the little citizens of the world has also their own fashion statements. I am sometimes startled to see young girls sending out not so good statements with what they wear. I am not so particular with clothing, in fact, my rule is, whatever is comfortable. Comfort however in my book is extended to the concept of wearing appropriate clothing given a place and a time, so that way you are also giving a sense of comfort to the people around you. 

Have you ever seen young girls being forced to look like Hollywood stars by letting them wear model-like outfit? Not only these clothes make them look older, it robs them the privilege of being young girls! I mean, they are children, let them be, and start by letting them wear clothes suitable for their age. 

I always shop for children's clothes specially during the holidays and I always make sure I get what is appropriate for their age, so that way they look pretty young girls, and not an adult trap in kid's bodies. Mariposa's Preoccupation

Time flies so fast, it's been home for just almost a month. No trips to office, no graveyard shifts, no stress! I just made the best decision of staying at home and taking some rest before joining a big project. The past weeks allowed me to do so many things, stuff that I love to do and have been wanting to do but did not have the time. 

As most of you could guess I am referring to my online activities. Other than blogging and reading blogs, I have been able to do research and some readings. I am able to shop around too. And I don't mean just clothes, shoes and makeups. I have been shopping for my other passion - books! 

Shopping is a very good way to release stress for me! And I don't necessarily spend so much. What I enjoy most every time I do shopping the experience of going through several choices, examining each, comparing them against each other and then coming up with a decision. Now, imagine doing that from home because it's online shopping. I don't have to walk around in my high heels...and I can do it anytime!

Shopping for books is always fun but doing it online couldn't be better! That is because I always get what I am looking for and most of the time I have lots of discovery. Asking Friends To Be Your Bridesmaids

I know I've been a slacker and the IT Guy and well even friends are slowly getting annoyed with it. But heck, it's my wedding so please let me take my time! 

Anyway, this week I intend to finalize some aspects of the wedding but the date! LOL I can't seem to decide on the date as I have not made up my mind yet if it's going to be a church wedding or a garden or somewhere at the beach. All I know is it should be so early in the morning before I want that sunrise over my shoulder! 

I will be working on wedding favors this week and the weeks to come. I know there are really a lot of do-it-yourself out there but since I don't have that luxury of time I guess I might as well find some professional help. So I have been shopping around oh my, I found these cute "will you be my bridesmaids" wedding favors. 

I am just so excited now. I think what I just found will just compliment whatever stuff I have (yes I've been collecting stuff years ago for my dream wedding, and include the IT Guy there! LOL). And I bet with these cute thingies asking friends to be your bridesmaids will be more exciting to them!

Ballroom Dancing

I've been away once again. No, I wasn't sick...not that busy as well, just having my lazy days. And though I was away here, I was at Facebook most of the times. Ha!

Anyway, one of my friends there won in a dance competition. It was a dance sport...something. There were times that I got interested with ballroom dancing. Well I am still but I just don't have those set of friends to go anymore. I think I miss it. I love dancing and more than specifically ballroom dancing. The IT Guy unfortunately falls into that category of "tough men don't dance". LOL There was a time though that he tried and started joining my Saturday dance practice, but that was short-lived. I wonder what happened. I guess it was our schedule, most likely my schedule. 

Right now more than anything I just want to go back to dancing. Nothing big and fancy like the way it used. No competition for sure, but there will be more fun I hope! 

So what's the first thing to do when you are into dancing?! Guess what! You have to shop for your dancing attire and that means those cute little dresses and a cute shoes to go with it!

Am I the only one having a hard time shopping for men's clothes? Not that I can't find any...but what I am having a hard time finding is the right size. Not all friends of mine are as minute as I am and I need no just ordinary menswear. I need large men's clothing to gift a friend. And I don't just mean the usual XL size.

To Fold or Not to Fold

Not so long ago I talked about the IT Guy himself getting a treadmill. What he got is the fixed one. It's nice...but it eats space. So, right now I'm considering getting a folding treadmill.
