My sister wear too many rings. One of every figure, including thumbs. I gave up jewelry when I became a mom, because it was just one more thing to see to in the AM.

Who decides how many is "too many" anyway? If you're okay with them, what's it matter what anyone else says?
Besides, if my hands were so lovely, I'd want to draw attention to them too.
You know, I have a lovely little gold snake ring with ruby eyes but I can't find it! :( Pretty rings!
That is a beautiful self portrait. Sometimes focusing on a detail like a hand or rings is very effective.
