Shattered...

"Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
do not fret - it only causes harm."
-Psalms 37:8

I was shamed...and now I am embarrass!

I have been weak, and once again I gave in to my temper. (See post below!)

It was ugly...unhealthy...unproductive...and simply not pleasing to His eyes.

My only consolation is that, it did not take that long for Him to get through my senses...and things were resolved in time. Praise God!

So my WFW today is to remind myself that anger will never do me any good...not only it hurts people I care and who cares for me, they are not good for me!

My Wordless Wednesday entry for today reflects the damage that anger do to us...to our body...to our soul. It's been years since I took shots like this...and well, took me two tries to get that perfect shot I wanted!

Happy (not so) WORDless FILLED Wednesday!

I'm so about everything that happened yesterday, but I'm glad to read your update at the bottom of the post. I'm happy to see that things worked out.

Anger is a normal human trait. One has to occasionally let the steam out . It has to be let out in a controlled manner for best results.
The photo is beautifully done.

We've all been there. Your WW image is exquisite. I'm almost wordless at Sacred Ruminations ... and it's guaranteed to generate smiles ;--)

Mariposa, amazing graphic of the glass! Wow! Thanks for the comment on my site too. John Smulo's idea for "Blog Comment Day" seems to be a big hit. Glad to have connected with you!

I'm sorry you were so angry. A glimpse down through your post shouts some things I'm uncomfortable reading, but I'm going to read them so I can pray for you. Bless your heart! Anger is no good for us, is it? It's a healthy emotion when expressed appropriately, but sometimes our buttons just get so pushed that the ugly comes up and out so quickly. Glad God has restored you, my friend! Bless you.

I love the pic! Too cool! Oh, if I could only take back the many times I have lost my temper. I am so glad God loves me despite myself. Isn't it amazing!

Take care my friend!
Happy WFW!
