The rose remains beautiful regardless of where it rests.

Saiyo - This post resonates what I feel, hope what you said extends to me, and that I can tell myself that. Thanks!

Great picture, Mariposa, I really liked it. Thanks for your comments re: Florencia. I have more videos I will be posting soon! :-)

What a lovely composition! The vase is also beautiful, with or without the rose! The same is true of the table. Does one need the other, or do they merely compliment each other? Your photo asks many questions.

Items remained beautiful despite not being placed together in 1 unit. Nice composition of the shot :)

G & G - Yes, this composition echoes all the question in my heads...thanks for the visit!

napaboaniya - You reinforces what Saiyo said, and I am telling myself that. Thanks!

The simplicity of the vase sets the rose off beautifully.

What a perfect title. I agree the rose still looks beautiful where ever it may be.

That is a beautiful still life. Great lighting. The title does give a bit of a sad overtone, and like G&G said, it does ask many questions...

great shot! the jar looks better being a background... it shows jars are not just something where you put flowers to. and flowers should always stand-out regardless how beautiful a jar is. this photo speaks of that...

What a lovely still life. The contrast between the smooth pottery and the thorny rose works beautifully.

To answer the question you left in my comments section, I took the photo at the bottom of my road in Bexhill-on-Sea. UK

Simply beautiful! Sorry to be so late with my visits. Life's been busier than usual, but I'm doing what I can to catch up today.
Hugs and blessings,
