2 Cups

two cups of coffee in the morning,
two days 'til i stop feeling blue,
two chairs went empty in the corner,
i got too much me and not enough of you.

That reminds me - a new Starbucks opened up down the road, and they sent me a coupon for a free cup of coffee, which is going to expire shortly. Thank you for the reminder!

I've been on a Starbucks fast for a while but thanks to that photo I see a full fat Vanilla Latte in my future very soon.

Drink one for me...no Starbucks in the arctic.

I love my morning coffee. BUT, hubby leaves earlier then I do, so we don't get to enjoy sipping it together.

I like your poem, your picture fits really well.
Starbucks would go broke if all were like Mrs. Jim and me. The only thing we have bought were a couple of half-priced mugs. I have drank a lot of their sample stuff though.

Happy WW! Thanks for your visit, I got permission from the owner to post this. We met with our dogs at the vet Monday.
You are welcome to come back when you are just surfing and check out the Adi (my dog) Meme link. :-)

Lovely shot. Happy WW!

Hope you have company for coffee again soon. No Starbucks here in the middle of nowhere where I live, but the photo brings back memories of my time in Arizona and Friday mocha frappachinos with my niece. Boy those are good.

the poem and the photo go well together... i really feel like i'm there, waiting for "the other"... the photo has a look of "expectancy" to it :)

Know the feeling! Two cups of that would be enough to cure the heartache, though!

i would love to grab one now. last time i had one was last Nov in Dubai.
Now, don't know how to stop this craving. Happy WW.

I am not a coffee drinker, so the fascination for coffee isn't something I can figure out. Now on the other hand our son is truly addicted, and he was telling me just last night that now Starbucks has chocolates at their cafes....Starbucks' Chocolates!!!

How bittersweet to be so lonely. Make mine a large cappuccino, please.

I'm from the Pacific Northwest - I LOVE STARBUCKS. Might as well give it to me in an IV. Nectar of the Gods.

I made the mistake of introducing my kids to Starbucks. Not good at all.

As for It Guy being out of town, use the opportunity to watch all those movies he really doesn't want to watch with you.

Hopefully, you just looove coffee & are not actually feeling blue! :D Cute poem too!
PS. I could get a lot shopping done before Sat. (that always helps me!)

Two Grandes = $10 bucks! I like McD's billboard ad... Large is the new grande. Fortunately, i've given up coffee & soda for gas money. Happy WW!

Great picture. I didn't care too much about Starbucks until I discovered their frappucinos while in San Diego last month. I'm totally hooked on that stuff now...

Happy WW, and thanks for stopping by!
