I skipped work last night for the Chinese New Year celebration...such a busy day for everyone in the house.
I asked Yummy to take leave from work too...LOL
Yummy prepared the fireworks at home...
We had the traditional dinner with family...
Then we had the giving of red lai-see (red packets with money)...
Here are some photos -
[Edited]
I'm still not able to get the photos from my phone...but these are photos of the Taoist Temple in the morning, I had to grab it from his cam since he seems to busy to post this in his blog anyway.
This is the top most part of the Temple from a far...
This is how it looks from the right side...and you have there the dragon!
This is the hall on top of that dragon...actually is at the right side of the main temple. There is another temple here, small one but we are not to take pictures of. Though some people manage to sneak some photos...I don't. ;)
The two photos below show the stairs on the way to the main temple, and the front view of the main temple.
We had a dragon dance at the house this morning!
This is a Chinese good luck decor...
An amateur photo of the fireworks from the balcony...LOL
The new year's eve party last night...
May the year of the Rat sneak you heap loads of everything!
Cheers!
P.S. I will be adding some pictures from the Temple later as soon as Yummy gets home and solve what's the problem with my cable... ;)

I really miss celebrating the New Year with the fam back home.
Never have I eaten so much good food and passed out in a delicious coma.
