1. By what nickname(s) were you known as a child?
My name is really short so they call me by my name...but family and relatives call me "Inday". That is a local word use to address your girls/ ladies here...
2. Do you have a favorite poem and, if so, what is it? Recite it (or a snippet) here, please.
My favorite of all time, something which I can recite to anyone anytime - Desiderata
Oh I love Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, let me quote my favorite line -
On Love
When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.
On Children
Your children are not your children,
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but are not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
3. What is your greatest regret in life, something that you failed to do that you wish you did? Your children are not your children,
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but are not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
Honestly, I can't think of anything right now...I may have few what ifs but none that would really make me wish I did them.
4. You are tired and hungry, but it's too late to cook. If any snack food were available to you, what would you choose and why?
In order of availability -
(1) Garlic Bread Sticks (I love them!)
(2) Banana
(3) Nesvita (For those who are not familiar, it's a cereal drink.)
(4) Oats
5. What is the oldest item of clothing (not jewelry!) that you wear regularly and what do you love about it?
An old night dress...it's quite comfy!
Bonus (as in optional):
Name a movie or TV show that changed your thinking or behavior.
