There are days when I need some extra love.
Yes, you read that right. Those are the days I'm not at my best. And I am not the strongest. Today, my prayer is simple — to have just enough strength to keep going.
Not to conquer the day. Not to have all the answers. Just enough.
Everybody looks at me like I've figured it out, like I always have the strength, like showing up is easy for me. Like I wake up already whole. But that's not the truth of it. The truth is quieter, and heavier, than what people see.
Because strength isn't the absence of struggling. It's choosing to stand again after you've already fallen once that day, in ways no one noticed. It's the space between what people assume about you and what you actually carry.
So you need to know — every single day, that is my prayer. Not for greatness. Not for certainty. Just enough strength to keep going. That's all I ask for. That's all I've ever really needed.
And some days, that strength doesn't come from within me at all. It comes from someone else — a word, a gesture, a presence that shows up exactly when I needed it, without even knowing how much I needed it.
Today, it came. And to that someone who gave me that extra love today — thank you. You may never know what it meant, but it was the answer to a prayer I didn't say out loud.
