Kids Say the Darnedest Things!

Hello folks!

It's a beautiful Monday once again...yes, my Monday is way earlier than the rest... ;)

So today will be about kids wit and just just how they say the darnedest things!

I'm not married yet, and have no kids yet...I love children and have interaction with them always...so here goes my Fun Monday this week --

I have a younger cousin...and well, this happened like 10 years ago...yet I still laugh and smile the same way I did every time I remember it! We call her Aloh, and you can check HERE why and how she has grown!

Aloh is very close to me that every time I go to the library on weekends, I bring her with me...and one Saturday we passed by the Fine Arts department...had some chit chat with friends...and when we were leaving, she asked my friend, who had several tattoos on his arm this, "Don't you have a paper and a wall to write on?" (Obviously, in the absence of a paper, she writes on their walls!)

That is one of the many reasons why I don't have a tattoo!

I'd like to thank the following people who signed up for Fun Monday today, please visit each other as I'm sure to visit all of you!

Too cute! If you want honesty, just ask a kid, or don't ask and they'll tell you anyway! Thanks for hosting Fun Monday!

I'm sure Aloh and Rodney would have been friends Mariposa.
Thanks for hosting.

Kids say the things everyone else is thinking but are to old to verbalize!

That is so sweet wish you could see me laughing :)

Hehe! I love how kids' words come out with no filters. Great story and thanks for hosting!

LOL....you don't know how many times I've washed walls in my day. Now, with the kids grown, I kinda wish I hadn't wiped off their wall tattoos. Cute story.

And, thanks for hosting.

That's something I'd love to say to some sporting those tats!

Great topic, Mariposa, thanks! I thought of something I could post, but I didn't get to writing it up in time :-( Plus, the story was about something funny my sister said back when we were kids, so I would've wanted to ask her permission first...and I didn't get to do that either *sigh*

Anyway, I enjoyed reading your story! Thanks for hosting!

Oh that is too funny! You just never know what's going to come out of the mouths of kids! Thanks for hosting and this was a great idea!!

I finally got mine up - It's been a rough day!

Walls are just as acceptable a writing surface to kids as anything else. Once I discovered the Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean, I kept one on hand for just that reason.
