Lifting It All Up

For my WW entry please scroll down or click HERE.

Early today, I wrote hurriedly a post asking people some favor...so if you can stay a bit, please scroll down and do me favor. And to those who click, my heartfelt gratitude to all you!

I did mention in my early post that I am going to the doctor. Yes I did. They ran some tests and I am going back there in an hour or so for the results. Also, I am getting some shots...and I requested for that Vit. B cocktail shot! (Just Vit. B and Vit. B complex!)

Just in case somebody knowledgeable enough come across this blog, here is what I am going through. I have cough. I had asthma last Thursday...now my breathing is better (though I still have shortness of breath!) but I still have cough. I am feeling an extreme fatigue...and sometimes low grade fever. My voice has gone husky since weekend, but it's getting better. I have colds too! I am hoping it's not pneumonia, though it really looks like it. Though it may help to say I am always inclined to having bronchial asthma and I have allergic rhinitis. So, yes, all this are allergy triggered/ induced! Any change of the weather makes me sick...

Despite that I am happy to say that I was still able to do my commitment. Yes, last Saturday, was our first formal outreach in that certain community. Will write more about it tomorrow for my Thankful Thursday.

So what do we do when we are sick?! After all the due diligence of going to the doctor, taking meds and rest???

Yes, I am doing the greatest thing...lifting it all up to Him. He who is the ultimate healer of all...

So for this week, I share with you Matthew 8:17.

Truly, only He can take up all our infirmities! For a person who has and is always sick, I can attest to His grace and compassion for the sick. He had never failed to carry me through in times like this.

This week, I am praying for healing for everyone...not only in body but also in mind and spirit. Please do join me in my prayers...and in celebrating His words at Word Filled Wednesday.

Mariposa,

I have a bit of medical training, in transcription. Have you gone to see a pulmonary doctor? They might be able to get to the bottom of all this for you.

I will be praying! I know you haven't felt good for awhile.

Blessings!
Cheryl

Blessings Mariposa. I hope the doc can get you straightened out but you're on the right path for sure by lifting up to the Holy Physician! I can't wait to read your TT for tomorrow!

I'm so sorry you've been sick and am praying for you. I have been sick with this stuff since October 8. I am on my second round of antibiotics and still rattling and congested. I am going back to the doctor tomorrow - busy day at work today...I can so relate to wwhat you said, "For a person who has and is always sick, I can attest to His grace and compassion for the sick. He had never failed to carry me through in times like this." I have 3 chronic illnesses that flare up from time to time, and sometimes all at the same time, but I can say the same thing - God's compassion never fails. He always sustains us. May He be with you as you recover...
Happy WFW!

This is a beautiful verse. Poinant on so many levels. And I love that photo! It portrays a barren'ness - drying up, but at the same time represents LIFE! God is good! I will lift you before His Throne today -- that you will feel His strength in your physical weakness.
Happy WFW, friend!

Yes He can & Yes He will(I said this somewhere else already today!) May the Lord, Our God & Healer...do just that!!! I'm sorry that you have not been well. I'm glad you are following through and even get that extra shot of B??? But your illustration & verse hold the ultimate healing, but we must rest & follow all the other wise choices given us! I will pray Mariposa for all of you, for when the body is weak, the mind & spirit may
suffer as well! May His Holy Spirit bring you the power to recover! May your test results bring you a path to recovery and solution! May Our Lord wrap you in His arms & bring you rest & healing! Thanks for your visit & think about my verse if IT does not see things the same, better to know before than after!
God bless & bring healing Mariposa
in Jesus' Name & Strength!

Dear Mariposa,
I didn't realize you were sick. While I have no idea what to suggest, I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you, and hope you feel better.

Love,
Susan

Praying for healing for you during this crazy time of the year. Here in Georgia, the weather is beautiful but the pollen is deadly. My boy was diagnosed yesterday with sinus infection and possible walking pnuemonia, so I know how it can creep up on you. May God's healing hand cover you and restore your health. Thanks for your beautiful post and for dropping by my blog!
