Job Performance Reviews!

Last week, I did my procrastinator's creed and I find it very entertaining...light and it felt good!

This week has been a bit jumpy for me...and things are just a little horrific at work. Though I'm thankful for getting a good job offer, I'm still praying for God's wisdom and guidance.

The job offer is about 2-3x of what I'm earning...they offer good benefits and all, yet I have to move to Manila, which is in another island.

IT Guy is not so agreeable with it since he is worried on how I will do my laundry and all...LOL I'm never used to any household chores...and I've always lived with my parents!

IT Guys is also working on his papers to move to that is another option for me...for us. If I get to talk to that potential employer in Sydney, I'll have a different mix of options...and it will be more confusing!

I'm just to grateful that will all things happening, God has not failed to constantly support me by giving me options...even if it is just to point to me that despite all things are still better with me.

So, I will choose to worry on these things tomorrow or next week...or I'll just cross the bridge when I get there?

So for today, I'm doing another "fun" post....

Ever wondered what your boss puts on your performance appraisal? These are thirteen random actual quotes taken from job performance reviews, which I have personally picked to amuse myself with the people I'm working with!

1. I would not allow this employee to breed.

2. This associate is really not so much of a has-been, but more definitely a won't be.

3. He sets low personal standards and then consistently fails to achieve them.

4. A room temperature IQ.

5. Got a full 6-pack, but lacks the plastic thingy to hold it together.

6. A gross ignoramus - 144 times worse than an ordinary ignoramus.

7. One-celled organisms outscore him in IQ tests.

8. Donated his brain to science before he was done using it.

9. Has two brains: one is lost; the other is out looking for it.

10. If brains were taxed, she'd get a refund.

11. If you give him a penny for his thoughts, you'll get change.

12. One neurone short of a synapse.

13. Some drink from the fountain of knowledge, he only gargled.

Everyday is the best time
to give thanks!

I’ll add my prayers to yours for God’s wisdom and guidance. Thanks for the chuckles here this evening. It’s hard to imagine these were ‘actual’ comments made by ‘reviewers’ about real people … then again I’ve read strange things teachers have written on cumulative records about students too. Mine’s up at Small Reflections … wordlessly, perhaps because I was so ‘wordy’ in Wednesday’s post?
Hugs and blessings,

If someone offered me 3 times what I'm making now, I'd be gone. But I'm a risk taker. It would be worth my time to move. If I knew it was a sure thing, I would be gone.

Very funny! I'll probably end up using some of those and claiming them as my own!

LOL, great quotes!

You, my dear, have reached that time in your life where you have to decide the direction it will take for the rest of it. We all go through it, now it's your turn.

The only piece of advice I can give you is to do what's best for YOU and no one else. What ever you decide is best for YOU, do it. Don't let anyone lay a guilt trip on you. It's your life to spend as you choose, not theirs.

Trust in God, he's on your side and so am I.
