Hey, It's Your Loss

You know, it could have been something awesome.

I could have treated you in ways that are usually saved for romance novels.

I could have respected your boundaries, yet pushed the envelope to enable you to explore feelings, emotions and excitement you have never experienced before.

You would have known the feeling of how it feels to have someone appreciate your essence, your very being.

You would have known the feeling of orgasms that only comes with the kind of real attention that comes from somebody who gets excited more by stimulating you than using you as a partner.
Experience and patience are tools that I could have deftly used to teach you how wonderful I could make you feel.

You know I am a “wonderful lady” and muse how lucky somebody ELSE would be to have my attention. But, you don’t think of me that way. With your eyes open, I just don’t do it for you. Too bad, you didn’t just close your eyes for a second and take a chance. I could have really made it worth your while.

In the end...it really was your loss.

Note: This was not directed to anyone specifically, or even in somebody’s general direction. It is just how I feel right now.

That was awesome..well done! Although I'm married, there are a few select men from my past that I would have liked to copy/paste your post and send to ;)

There is not such thing as not pointed to someone's general direction for Mariposa. In the end, it your lost too. He could had a life with you but you blew it bigtime!

oh sweetie.... are you ok? I think anyone who would lose you as a friend or something more permanent would be a BIG time loser. I would delete anonymous.

I agree- it IS their loss.
You are awesome.

I hope you're not hurting too much.

Oh, and someone who writes a negative comment, during a low point in your life, under anonymous is cowardly and classless.

Wow...I definitely could have pointed that in more than one direction in my life. Maybe I should copy it and keep it handy...

A very powerful and universal situation--glad you are able to express such emotions--letting them out, not holding them in is best. And as you express yourself, you give voice to these emotions.

Guys, thanks for the very huge support. I am not deleting anonymous though...the comment does not weigh anything at all after reading all your nice comments.

After all, I posted the blog because that is how I feel, that very moment...if some don't agree with it, it still does not change what I feel...

Thanks again!

The thing about these sorts of situations: your loss, if anything, is momentary, but then you'll find something better. Their loss is forever, in never doing as well again.

Thank you for this...I have been dating a guy for over three years and we have a beautiful baby boy together. He has not been the perfect guy, but no one is. Today he left for work and I went onto his comp only to find that he has been sneaking around with people from his two different jobs...not that they've been intimate, but just going out and leaving me and his son at home. I confronted him and he made everything my fault, which is not fair. So after three years of my life he ended it. SO I came home unable to figure out what I'm going to do now, and I was looking for something to put up as an away message, just so I could try to get through this, and your blog came up in to search results. I felt like it was the end of the world, and I still kinda do, but seeing this has helped me more than you can know. Thank you.
